Creative workshops
for the community

Hands-on sessions for youth, adults, schools, and nonprofits — 1 to 4 hours, always tailored to your group. Creativity here isn’t about being “good” at art. It’s about connection, confidence, and telling the stories that matter most.

Zine Workshops

“I believe everyone has a story worth telling.”

My zine workshops are creative, hands-on experiences that use art, writing, collage, and design as tools for self-expression, reflection, and connection. Whether I’m working with youth, adults, schools, nonprofits, or community organizations, I create welcoming spaces where participants can explore their ideas without the pressure of being “good” at art.

A zine is a small, self-published booklet that can hold anything from personal stories and poetry to illustrations, photography, dreams, and big ideas. Making one gives us time to slow down, process emotions, and build confidence — and participants leave with a completed zine, new creative skills, and a practice they can keep long after the workshop ends.

Every workshop is tailored to the group, with themes like

Mental health & emotional wellness Identity & belonging Community storytelling Creative confidence Poetry & creative writing Photography & mixed media Goal setting & personal growth Advocacy & social change

Creative Entrepreneurship

“Creativity doesn’t end with making art.”

Creativity can become a career, a business, and a way to create lasting impact. Drawing from my own experience as a working artist, muralist, designer, and creative business owner, I introduce young people to the process of turning ideas into opportunities — and encourage them to think boldly about their talents and interests.

Through brainstorming, collaborative discussion, and hands-on exercises, participants learn to identify their strengths, develop a business concept, build a brand, understand their audience, and communicate with confidence. We explore how today’s creative professionals use design, storytelling, social media, photography, video, and AI to build meaningful careers — and how problem-solving, adaptability, and innovative thinking are life skills that reach far beyond business.
